Three Owls will be representing Rice track and field this week as they travel to the 2015 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships, June 10-13 at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

Rice University will begin construction soon on a new $2 million grandstand, enclosed press box and team facilities for soccer and men's and women's track and field and cross country.

Rice sophomore decathlete Scott Filip finished 21st in the long jump at Thursday's NCAA West Prelims at the University of Texas.

Rice track and field athletes Duncan Dickerson, Scott Filip and Evan Karakolis were all named to the C-USA All-Academic Team on Wednesday, the league office announced.
